Pre conference solo performances by Lara Jai (on her harp)

Lara's music reflects her passion for exploring diverse lands and discovering the spriitual wisdom of ancient cultures. Her songs center around her deep love of nature and the Divine. Lara has been compared to legendary female artists Loreena McKennitt, Joni Mitchell, and Enya. The extraordinary clarity in Lara's classically trained voice and her deeply evocative lyrics lift the spirit!

                                            unveiling2012 Sarasota conference

John Major Jenkins.. William Henry.. Daniel Pinchbeck

A great opportunity to join three of the most inspiring philosophers, scholars, and researchers of our time who identify the year 2012 and these years leading up to it as a critical nexus point for humanity.

Gain insight, knowledge, and information about 2012 as:

John Major Jenkins journeys' to the source for answers—the original Mayan calendar and the perennial wisdom it embodies.

Daniel Pinchbeck believes that "2012" is useful as a meme if it helps us to catalyze a shift in global culture and consciousness. “Rather than fretting about what may or may not happen on that date, we should concentrate on the work that needs to be done now, on an inner as well as outer level.”

Maya prophecy says a stargate will open in 2012. An enlightened being or a group will emerge. William Henry answers a key question: who will open the door? Since 1992 he has focused on interpreting ancient myths and spiritual mysteries that relate to the empowerment of the human soul, focusing on understanding the Ladder to God (Scala Dei), which has been prominent in myths and scriptures since the beginning of time.

What, if anything, is in store for us in 2012? Whether you are a skeptic, a true believer, or simply “2012-curious,” this conference offers you a thought-provoking and comprehensive exploration into the possibilities of this approaching landmark in human history.

New speaker just added to Unveiling2012 Sarasota conference!

Robert Sitler  is a Professor of Modern Languages and Literatures at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida where he also serves as Director of the Latin American Studies program.  His PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 focused on representations of the Maya world in the Spanish-American novel. Robert has enjoyed over three decades of involvement with numerous indigenous groups in Mesoamerica, especially with the Mam-speaking Maya of northwest Guatemala. His most recent publications focus on the developing social phenomenon surrounding the 2012 date in the Maya Long Count calendar. Currently, he is translating a novel written by the Q’anjob’al Maya writer Gaspar González that focuses on the significance of 2012.

You will also be able to meet the webmasters of some popular 2012 websites who are coming in to hear the speakers and meet everyone there……
